Jeanne's Journey To The Other Side

Just wanted to let everyone know she came through just fine. Surgery started

at 1pm & she was in recovery by 2:30. The worst part was the waiting when we got

to the hosp, the waiting in the next phase, and the next, and the waiting when

they wheeled her into holding - she thought they got her into the O.R. by 12:30,

but I told her they just " put her up on blocks " ! She didn't get to the room

until 5:30 - the room wasn't ready yet.........apparently they had to wait for

the housekeeping team from the Hilton! Mostly pain was from the incision, but

morphine's taking care of that. Nurse will get her walking tomorrow morning, and

possibly sips of water or at least ice chips.

Will report more tomorrow evening.
