What kind of hearing aids did you use and what kind of loss does she have?

We are having a hard time deciding what would be the best aid for our

daughter who has a low frequency hearing loss.

Please let me know.

She has a bilateral severe hearing loss. The hearing aids are Phonak 2P2 AZ.

These aids should be able to match almost any hearing loss pattern as they are

digitally

programmable. In Hannah's particular case, she can hear low frequencies better

than high frequencies. We are about to purchase the MicroLink FM receiver which

should

help her speech even further. My wife and I like this particular hearing aid/FM

receiver combination because it is completely wireless. I'm sure that there are

many

wonderful vendors with great products out there, but these seem to be working

really well for Hannah.

Life is so strange that way - if you look hard enough and wait long enough -

you will find good in the middle of a bad situation.......
