Guest guest Posted January 1, 2003 Report Share Posted January 1, 2003 Dr. Comings, a geneticist who specializes in Tourettes and other disorders on the behavior spectrum believes that Ritalin does not cause the tics, but rather that the child would likely have developed them anyhow, and that the ADD and tics are both only symptoms of the underlying genetic stacking.
