Guest guest
I believe you are referring to Gameshow Pro 3. It comes with Jeopardy, Family Feud, Tic Tac Toe and Is That Your Final Answer. You program the questions and the answers. The program is sold by Learningware.com. If you are a POST agency in California, contact me off line and I will provide additional information. Guest guest
I have an entire binder of activities used by dispatchers for dispatchers. Many of these activities are on a CD now and some are on my personal website. If you contact me off line I will send you the information. My husband just showed me a Jeapordy game that a co-worker found on the internet that you can change to add your own questions to. It is an interactive powerpoint game. I will find out where they found it and let you know. Roscommon County (MI) Central Dispatch

I want the class to be extremely exciting... ******************************************************************** I assume you use PCs for your work, so How about some software for the people to use to get used to using Windows or Windows based applications. One of the best for a real newbie is, Solitaire. I was so surprised how many people had very little exposure to a PC, much less common Windows functions; copy/cut & paste, (that one seemed to cause the most hell in our office anyway). Beyond that, fully functional copies of all software you use (not live to your system but to a Temp file or something similar) that they can practice on that won't hurt the system if they crash it or lock it up. One other item is to explain either in print or in a group setting, is why the computer does some of the things it does. A Windows 101 if you will. In training at my first job we were forced to play games several hours a day and the worst of them was that stupid bop it. I hated it. It was horrible. I've never been much into board games, don't watch television so most of the TV based ones passed me by -- give me a good jig saw puzzle any day but don't force me to play some game. Guest guest
To those of you who wanted the information on the Jeopardy game for training: The person who I thought had it said that they found it on the internet by doing a search for Jeopardy music at google.com. I tried it but didn't have as much luck. I did find this site that may work though: http://itech.fcps.net/trt10/PowerPoint.htm. It seems like the same thing but I haven't had a chance to try it. Hope it helps! ;-) Roscommon Co (MI) Central Dispatch At 07:22 AM 12/17/02 -0500, you wrote: >I need some new ideas for my class.
