I was not working this time, however the last two officers that were shot I was

working. I think I may have a black cloud that hangs over me when I am on the

radio

Columbus Police Officers Shot During Drug Raid

Neither Hurt Following Shooting

UPDATED: 10:22 a.m. EST November 20, 2002

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Two Columbus police officers were shot during a narcotics raid

Tuesday night.

NewsChannel 4 reported that the incident occurred at 7:20 p.m. at 2306 Linden

Ave. while the undercover officers executed a search warrant.

Officer Craig Flaherty, 42, was struck once in his tactical body armor near his

stomach, police said. He was not injured.

Officer Walter , 42, was grazed by a gunshot in his left forearm. His

injuries were described as minor and required no further treatment, police said.

Neither officer fired back, police said.

There were five people inside the home at the time, NewsChannel 4 reported.

One of the suspects, Marcus Price, 19, admitted to firing a weapon multiple

times through the front wall when police arrived.
