I was doing some geneology research awhile back, and was going through old

newspapers, looking for birth and death notices and such, and I enjoyed reading a

lot of the articles. Many were pretty funny.Hard, though,as they are all on

microfilm. My eyes bother me after awhile, and trying to manuver the dang thing to

the right side of the page was difficult. Those papers had quite a few

pages.Death notices seemed to be all over the place,so I founf myself reading

many of the other articles.

Each one contains a line transcribed from actual newspapers or digital scans of

kinds of quotes on a wide range of topics, such as the Galveston Sand Crabs

baseball team (Texas, 1895), home dentistry (Tennessee, 1904), and beer made

from Sacramento River water (California, 1886).

but all good.
