Guest guest
The first time my hubby brought home a pheasant we thought you had to pluck it! After much time had passed he said I think I’ll pour boiling water over it to loosen the feathers. What a mess and the smell - whoa! So after that we skinned them. Too bad you’re not closer – I have an old German recipe that I use for pheasant that leaves you licking your fingers! By the way my son saw several wild boars (we call them razor backs) today. Also saw a turkey. Saw – didn’t get. Oh well, he enjoys being outside. All in good fun, it's nice to meet other people who have an interest in wildlife. I have never actually hunted deer, though. I think it would get in the way of my pursuits of feathered quarry.
