Guest guest
Hi Sharon, It sounds like your daughter has an infection. It may even be the basis of her MS symptoms. You might consider giving her colloidal silver (a natural, non-toxic, broad spectrum antibiotic). Guest guest
Hi Sharon, An acquantaince I know had this for quite some time. She gots all kinds of tests and ruled out cancer but were not sure why it was there. I suggested she get started on some immune support and it did go away and never came back at least not for along time. I have lost contact now. No matter what the tests reveal it would not hurt to start supporting your immune system to help fight what ever is going on. Take care. sharontomlin wrote: >Hello to all, have a question, I am the mother of a daughter that has >M.S..For awhile now she has been having trouble with the lymph node in >her neck. > >
Guest guest
Sharon, I don't know if this means anything but I had a swollen gland on one side of my neck about 1984-1985. I saw an internist for af ew months. He wanted to do a biopsy. I chickened out and just let it stay. It was there for months I don't remember how long. I was not sick at all at the time. In 1993 I was diagnosed with MS. Just thorught I'd mention it. -- lymph nodes Hello to all, have a question, I am the mother of a daughter that has M.S..For awhile now she has been having trouble with the lymph node in her neck. She has seen a doctor, but he is stumped as to the cause, was wondering if any of you has encountered this problem, and if so... what was done . Her doctor has done a blood test ,results should be known within a week.{checking for cat scratch fever )if not that he want to do a biopsy.Any feedback would be much appreciated. Sharon T . Guest guest
Thanks , Sonya's {that's my daughter } gland has been swollen for a year or more. She was diagnosed with ms in 1999. Did you have any pain with yours? her's goes down, but not completely, then swells up again. She can't hardly turn her head to the side. The Dr. is kinda puzzled as to the cause. Had her teeth all checked ,as he thought that might be where the problem was, but that turn out not to be the case. I don't think it is " cat scratch fever " but............ I could be wrong. Guess we'll be finding out next week. Once again, thanks . Sharon T.* and Iselborn wrote: Sharon, I don't know if this means anything but I had a swollen gland on one side of my neck about 1984-1985. Guest guest
She should get a biopsy just to be safe. I am not trying to frighten you as it is probably something benign but this is nothing to self cure or speculate about. My young friend (37) just had a lymphoma that he ignored until late stages. If he had gone in sooner, it would have been very treatable. Please check it out with a doctor just to be safe. Guest guest
Hi Sharon, Sorry to hear about your daughter. There are a few different things that could cause swollen lymph nodes. 1. Infection. Antibiotics will help, but not if she has a resistant strain of bacteria. The colloidal silver that Dudley mentioned has been known to kill ALL strains of bacteria, even the resistant ones. You might even want to consider using a zapper. The zapper " zaps " disease causing organisms in the body which helps the immune system fight off and eliminate them. Google zapper to find more info. 2. Cancer. Antibiotics don't help cancer, but there are a LOT of natural things that CAN help the body fight cancer. Just getting her body in a better state of health by alkalizing the body, detoxing, and maximizing nutritional balance can improve her immune system, and the body's ability to fight off cancer. (Is your daugher using any immune altering drugs for MS Tx? They might be affecting her immune system's ability to fight off cancer and other pathogens.) 3. An obstruction. There might be something that is blocking the flow of lymph fluid draining from that gland, causing the fluid to back up. An abstruction could be caused by a few different things including scar tissue from a previous infection, bacteria build up from a current infection, a clot or fibrin tissue, a tumor, either benign or malignant, even parasites. Warm packs might help open the lymph vessels, increase blood flow to the area, and also ease some of the pain. I recently had to deal with swollen lymph nodes just under my jaw, and was wracking my brain trying to figure out the cause. I even had a tooth removed, was on a course of antibiotics, used silver and the zapper, and ice packs. Finally I started using warm packs (those little hand warmers) and they really helped. I still am unsure about the exact cause, but one of those things must have done the trick, since the swelling is gone. I hope you guys can figure out the cause, so she can get reief soon.
