Guest guest
from: Sue Niquette Jeanne Ann, Please don't stop sending your messages of daily ups and downs. I for one appreciate hearing about the daily happenings of all my PLS Friends. It's the only way to really get to know people and I want to get to know all of you. I think our community is special in that we all can share good times and bad times. Who else can understand our feelings more than us? It's a good outlet for us and a very helpful forum to understand ourselves and our feelings better. Let's not forget that we are people and not just a disease. Hope to hear more from you. Take care. Sue (no subject) >From: JeanneAnnNeff@... > >I have just read all the comments about too much chitchat and too much mail. >I assure you that all chit chat will stop from this end and that I will make >certain any reply from me will concern PLS. I apologize for thinking that >you cared if I had a good day or not. I cared whether you did. I apologize >for wanting to share happy moments or thoughts with you all. And I apologize >for bothering you when I needed your opinion. I guess hitting delete is just >too much trouble. I just hope that when the day comes, and it will come, >that you need someone to listen to you or just be a friend over the miles, >that someone will be there. I will remember you all in my prayers. >Your friend, Jeanne Ann > >---------------------------
Guest guest
Congratulations, Jeanne Ann, your excitement is contagious. I'm so happy for you. Have a great day and an even greater day tomorrow. When you mentioned that people may look at you funny, it reminded me of my friend, who doesn't " look " disabled but has heart problems and lupus. She was telling me one day as she was getting out of her car, in a handicapped parking spot, someone called out to her that she didn't look handicapped, and she replied -- you don't LOOK ignorant either. I keep thinking what a perfect comeback. You just never know! Gentner

Guest guest
<< From: ritadfromhollis@... Jeanne Ann: Your just as crazy as I am, I am so glad your back! Rita >> I have no idea why you just called me crazy, but I'm glad I'm back too. I missed ya'll. Out there in la la land alone is no fun. Oh Rita, I love my chair. The difference it has made mentally is unbelieveable. I can go anywhere and do anything. I refuse to let pride get in my way. I'm leaving for Florida on April 15. My dad and I are flying and my mom and husband are driving and bringing my chair. My mom won't fly. is flying with me and dad if the price is right, if not, we will throw her into the van for the long trip. She's young, that trip doesn't bother her. We're taking her and my niece and nephew to Disney World. Can't wait for the looks there when I glide up to the rides in my trusty chair and then get up and get on the rides. I love roller-coasters. I hope I can still do them. Only one way to find out. The only problem is, finding out I can't could be rather messy. YUCK. I will probably totally mortify my child. She's getting used to it though. She is still trying to accept the fact that we are going bike riding this summer and mom is going to have TRAINING WHEELS on her bike. Not cool for a 9 year old. Oh well, we have some good laughs and she's learning what it takes to survive in this ole world. She's a good kid and I thank GOD for her daily. She does things that other 9 year olds would never dream of. She thinks it is normal and has no idea that other kids do not have the responsibility that she has. Well I don't know how I got from Florida to bike riding, but here I am and there I go. See ya, Jeanne Ann
