I think you answered your own question. Why worry about it when you've lost

20 lbs in 30 days. Keep up the super work.

Group Opinion Please

I have lost 20 lbs in 30 days. I have NEVER gone into Ketosis.....not even a

speck of purple on that old dip stick! The general opinion in the past is

that it is " good " to stay out of ketosis as there is no extra strain on my

kidneys.....I have NO cravings at all and am not cranky in the least. I do

take Premerin .9 daily (have for 7 years as I had a surgical hysteo) and

STILL am losing weight.

Thoughts...comments, etc. If it is good to be in Ketosis, is there a way

for me to get there without fasting completely (just a joke). I drink tons

of water and eat about 20-25 carbs each day.

The sticks seldom turn for me and I have lost 25 lbs.

You might have a " bad batch " of sticks.

One way other the other....I doesn't matter.

You are doing everything right.....and it's working.

Karyl - as other's have said - some people don't even register in ketosis.

Part of this could be due to the amount of water you're drinking - and that

is great. Don't worry at all about the ketosis factor of this - you are

doing wonderfully and you are losing. So keep on doing what you are doing

because it is working!!

i agree with what linda said you don't have to register on the sticks.

it looks like you are doing terrific, save some money and celebrate your

great job on this WOE.

Karyl,

Dietary ketosis is NOT hard on the kidneys; high protein is hard on the

kidneys of someone with kidney problems. But, if you have been losing

weight and have not been changing the color on the sticks, then don't worry

about it. Your obviously doing it right and are very successful!

Karyl,

you are not alone. In my household my hubby, daughter and I all went lc

at the same time. Jerry never turned purple and lost faster and better than

either Lise who was in ketosis in the mornings or me who was in ketosis at

night. As long as you are losing and feeling good, just keep up with what you

are doing.
