Ok fellow Pacific Northweter's, we must be careful here. If we keep telling

everyone how wonderful it is here, no one will be left in California. D.J.

Stop! Enough! I thought I wanted to move there before this, but all that

rain makes me want to leave for the Pacifc Northwet tomorrow! I love rain,

cold and damp. You can keep all this sunshine, dry air and hot temps! Along

with all the millions of people on the road all day long...

>>

Well, come on up, ! There's room for one more. I also love rain, cold

and damp..growing up in LA I always thought rain was Exotic! Also rain makes

me want to stay inside and work on quilt projects...when it's nice out I want

to be out in it. Sunny days here are always Special and people pay attention!

PS: when I lived in LA I lived in Highland Park (near the Southwest Indian

Museum and the Lummis home off of Avenue 43) and was in Pasadena frequently.

vicky, I actually live in So. Pasadena, just a mile from York & Figueroa! I

know your old stomping grounds! (I just say Pasadena, because no one has ever

heard of my little town....)

PS: If you ever visit down here again, look me up!

Vicki, you've described me to a T! Just substitute crosstitch, needlepoint,

sewing and beading for quilting and that's me....

I guess I had to leave Calif because my webfeet needed real rivers, not cement

channels. :0) I grew up in LA and Monterey Park when there were still horse

stables and empty fields. I used to bus to Pasadena for shopping. I experienced

the 1971 earthquake in Northridge (Ca St Univ) and headed north in 1974. I lived

in N Cal (Sunnyvale, Cupertino), Oregon (Medford, Eugene, North Bend areas), and

finally hit WA in 1984!

I'll take our rain any day! (Today's fog was a pain to drive in, though.)
