My child goes to the Helen Bebee Speech and hearing Center in Fort

Washington, PA; they are auditory-verbal and they do have a web page if you

need to get in touch with them. I'm not sure of the web adress, but I'm sure

you can search it.

More than one. Jd's an AV kid! ;-)

I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Your question

right now has interesting timing since there is some disagreement on another

list (CI-Circle) as to what AV therapy really is....and isn't. Have you

visited my web page on AV? There's some info there. You may also want to get

on the AV-circle and ask for their input. Info on that is also on that web

page:

AV-CIRCLE - listserv for those practicing, or interested in Auditory-Verbal

therapy. To subscribe, send a message to

majordomo@.... In the body of the message type: subscribe

avcircle@.... I'll be looking forward to

seeing you there!

Thanks Kay... I had some trouble with my email over Labor Day.. I had two kids

with the flu and had to pay my bill at the University.. I called them and asked

if I could

pay by mail and they would have it the next day and please don't shut me off...

Well, they did shut me off.. So if I got any other responses to AV Therapy, I

just got

yours.... Bummer huh??? Tahna and Nellie

Sounds like such a forgiving bunch (heavy sarcasm intended).

Unless someone sent something privately, I was the only one to respond to

your message so you're in good shape. It's a very quiet list though.

Someone did post a question on CI circle because their daughter developed a

sore under the coil. Are you on that one? If not, don't worry about it, just

thought I'd mention it.

Hugs,

Kay

Hi Kay,

No, that wasn't me this time about the sore from the CI.. You know,

Nellie's sore has finally healed.. Yes, this long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is still a

small, small red mark from the scab.... STILL So if anybody ever mentions

the sore healing process, it is a long process.... Tahna
