Hi Kathy. My homeopath suspected that I had Lyme, but I was never tested.

of the LDN site recently had tests by IGenEx and instead of MS he now

knows he has Lyme. I've had too many MS tests to doubt the results, but you may

be different. I don't know anything about IGenEx except that you need to go

through a doctor to send blood. The treatment for Lyme's is an extreme barage of

anti-biotics. I'm not up for that since I think they can kill your immune

system, much like chemo. People survive that though. If the test is that

important to you, you can look them up online and get the information. One good

thing about Lyme's is that it is considered curable. I'll help you get the info

if you need it. I don't know the cost.

entire Lyme panel or just one test? Do you know the cost by chance? I am

contacting them ASAP.

Hi Kathy,

Here is a letter directly from Bowen labs talking about their new test.

Perhaps you could wait and use that one as it is very accurate. ALso if

you want info on Lyme disease, Lyme strategies is the place to go, kind

of overwhelming with the amount of email though. ''

Thank you for your email. It is true that Bowen is coming out with a

new test in January. Whether it will be available on Jan 1 is still in

question. We have not finished the final steps of the validation

process as of this date.

We do expect that it will be covered by Medicare but, again, we have

not gotten that in writing from Medicare which is why we have not made

that information public. If a procedure or test is covered by Medicare

then the insurance companies will also allow coverage. It will be at

least the middle of January before we have that assurance from those

groups.

Yours,

Tom Long

about this girl who had MRI's for 18 years before she got a diagnosis of ms.

Don't tease me Kathy. I know you're talking about that banana bread! I've been

better since then and haven't been cheating...much! It is Christmas after all

and everyone is bringing stuff by.

Underlying Lyme's Infections That Mimic MS

I know of a doctor who has tremendous success treating MS by testing

for LYMES and then treating the Lymes. Lymes is suspected to

contaminate up to 1 in 2 people, but only one or two labs really know

how to test for it. My friend and her husband were misdiagnosed for

forever and tested for Lymes all the time and told they were fine.

They finally went to the right lab and were through the roof. Has

anybody here heard of this connection? I just thought I'd pass this

along!

, you are a sweetheart. I can find it on my own and if I can't I'll ask

for your help. I know you help so many people. I really appreciate you and all

your knowledge. You are a true gift for so many of us and a real inspiration.

You have so much willpower. LOL, Kathy Re: Underlying Lyme's Infections That Mimic MS

That is hysterical! I had a blueberry muffin today. See that is what I'm talking

about. When my work slows down, my diet is really good. When I get really busy

sometimes I find myself at Boston's chicken. Is it junkfood? No, not really but

it isn't healthy. I like that sweet potatoe casserole. I just feel so much

better when I tell myself I'm allergic to that food-don't eat it. I'm glad to

know you are human too!! giggle

I tested positive two years ago for Lyme (correct term is borreliosis).

Seven months of a variety of antibiotics did nothing--neither Herx nor

improvement. I must be one of the 50 percent of the people whom Dr.

Klinghardt sees who test positive but whose symptoms are caused by

something else.

One can carry around a variety of bacteria and be asymptomatic. My alt

doctor, who has a lot of experience treating Lyme patients, says

everyone has been exposed to borrelia.

Thanks ,

THat looks like interesting data - but I couldn't get the links to work.

Could you please repost them one by one? I am interested in learning what they

have to say. Like I said, my Inital research show that it is NOT transmitted

human to human - IF there is enough scientific data to support that it is, I can

be convinced...
