Guest guest
Vicki- I am currently in Ft. Lauderdale being treated at the Univeristy of Miami which is a bit of a haul from Tampa. She should try Univeristy of Florida in Gainesville. If all else fails there is the Mayo Clinic in ville and that was where we were headed next if my treatment wasnt successful in Miami. Hope that helps. All I can say is, if you have to drive for a bit in the beginniing to get the approproate treatment, then go for it. BTW, Vicki, I will be heading north to the DC area soon. What dr do you have in that area? Hopefully my dr in Miami will still continue to manage my case via my PC physician. Smiles from here. Guest guest
Im in Orlando but she doesnt want to see my doctor for sure. I do however have an appointment in August with my NEW doctor who is supposedly one of the best around. The names are Hasselbring and Freeman. They are both women and so is the office staff. You can pass along the info and if she wants further, she can email me. I am very eager to get to my appointment date myself !!!! Guest guest
Dear Vicki, You didn't mention the problem the woman has, but if she needs a rheumatologist, mine just moved to Gainseville and he is WONDERFUL! He is W. , MD, and is with the Artritis Associates of North Florida in Gainesville. I think their office is on West Newberry Road. Good luck to your friend!
