Vicki-

I am currently in Ft. Lauderdale being treated at the Univeristy of Miami

which is a bit of a haul from Tampa. She should try Univeristy of Florida in

Gainesville. If all else fails there is the Mayo Clinic in ville and

that was where we were headed next if my treatment wasnt successful in Miami.

Hope that helps. All I can say is, if you have to drive for a bit in the

beginniing to get the approproate treatment, then go for it.

BTW, Vicki, I will be heading north to the DC area soon. What dr do you have

in that area? Hopefully my dr in Miami will still continue to manage my case

via my PC physician.

Smiles from here.

Im in Orlando but she doesnt want to see my doctor for sure. I do however

have an appointment in August with my NEW doctor who is supposedly one of the

best around. The names are Hasselbring and Freeman. They are both women and

so is the office staff. You can pass along the info and if she wants

further, she can email me. I am very eager to get to my appointment date

myself !!!!

Dear Vicki,

You didn't mention the problem the woman has, but if she needs a

rheumatologist, mine just moved to Gainseville and he is WONDERFUL!

He is W. , MD, and is with the Artritis Associates of North

Florida in Gainesville. I think their office is on West Newberry Road.

Good luck to your friend!

Ann-Marie

Hi Everyone.... sorry I didn't get back on here yesterday...been waiting

for the rain since we need it so bad... Had to go to the grocery store

yesterday and wouldn't you know it...we had a heck of a thunder storm

while I was gone....darn, I miss all the fun. But, when I got back my

Webtv was shot... Had to go back down the hill and get a new one. By

the time I got back home it was to late to transfer information from my

old box to the new one cause they were closed....

Dana, ok...I'll try to find you a few doctors in the Washington DC

area.....

Hope everyone is doing fine and going to have a good day...now, I've got

to get to my emails....

Hello to all, My name is and I am 346 Pd 5-7 and I am over

weight. I am considering too do Gastric by-pass but I am scare to go

under the blade. Well I just think it very drastic step. But I am

starting to fell my weight and it is not funny any longer. I have

tried every diet you can think off. Well my question is. How do I

find a doctor in New York that does the operation? How do you fill a

few weeks out of that operation? How many months will I need to
