Guest guest
Adam, Let me ask you this...aside from the colds and flu, has your overall condition maintained, improved or declined over the past few years of taking supplements? Guest guest
Hi Thanks for the reply and info. As I say, I am wondering about the supplements etc as I NEVER used to get ill, now I do. It could be c complete coincidence, but it has only been since I started supplementing. Thanks, Adam > > You should try something like olive leaf extract for the immune system. Guest guest
Hi Adam, I think its a common mis-conception that if we take supplements that we should not get sick. The only thing supplements are doing in this day and age is increasing the amount of nutrients we get since our foods are deficient. If we want to guard against illness then we have to take way more then recommended amounts on labels sometimes, and eat exceptionally well. Most the time its the one or two things that are missing that we need the most and are not taking. I look at what your are taking and at first glance it seems like alot, but really its mostly just vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids. A strong immune system depends on so much more then that. It needs enzymes, pro-biotics, phytonutrients, phytoseterols, glyconutrients, antioxidant blends, in addition to what you are taking. If you cannot get these things from your foods then you have to supplement. I was taking way more then this years ago, spending hundreds of dollars on loads of things. I was still very sick and felt like you did. WHat I did not understand at the time was that I was not digesting well at all, I had leaky gut and major candida issues. Once I got those resolved and started to think about balancing my immune system then my health really started to change. I have not been sick now for over 3 years and used to get sick ever 6 weeks. For you at this point its obvious that your immune system is not strong enough to fight off colds and flu and so you must think about things that can balance it more. Start with colon health and then add things like Colostrum, its a great immune modulator, Glyconutrients, on a short term Echinacea is another Glyconutrient that can be helpful. The fact that you are more sick now since you have started supplements is either coincidence or the supplements you are taking are such poor quality that they are taxing your body and making it weaker. Try NOT to take supplements that have synthetics or chemicals and that are whole food and easy to digest. Hope this info helps. finnfan05 wrote: >I never used to get colds/flu. Guest guest
You should try something like olive leaf extract for the immune system. It is a natural antibiotic that you can take daily. What's going wrong? I never used to get colds/flu. I started supplementing 2-2.5 years ago, now I get them whenever they come around. A few people have commented on me picking things up all the time. I am wondering if it is worth it?! I take: Calcium & Magnesium Vit D Flax Seed Oil Evening Primrose Oil Vit B Complex Grape Seed Extract Gingko Biloba Vit E Selenium Vit C Thanks, Adam

Guest guest
Thanks I have researched the products and only take the quality, natural stuff. I have also had Candida testing done and that was OK. As I said, and you say, it is either a coincidence or-let's face it-these things are making me worse. I have to face facts. Thanks, Adam > > >I never used to get colds/flu. I started supplementing 2-2.5 years > >ago, now I get them whenever they come around. My Brother had had MS symptoms and his other problems (Gastroparesis, Coelaic's Disease, Raynaud's, IBS, Hiatus Hernia) since he was 16. he's now 24. 25 in May.
