Guest guest
Today I woke up from a nap and I felt like my entire body was on fire. Is this from being on this WOE? I have heard people say after eating sometimes their face feels hot but I mean, I felt like I was about to burst into flames. Has anyone else experienced this? Guest guest
Terry Well, since I'm only 22 I REALLY hope it wasnt a hot flash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That would be BAD. I dont have an electric blanket........I really like Clooney (That Kentucky hottie) but I dont think that was it........I dont feel bad other than feeling like I'm about to burst into flames STILL..........I dont remember dreaming anything. I was hoping to hear my metabolism was in high gear, especially since the scale hasnt moved in two weeks. *tears* << , It was either . . . A) the Hot Flash from Hell (see the archives for my fairly recent post describing my experience with one of those); a short in your electric blankie; C) a sudden wakening from a dream about Clooney; D) a back-to-school induced fever and delirium; or E) maybe you're coming down with something. What were you dreaming about? Terry >>

Guest guest
Yes that has happened to me a few times! I thought I was having a mother of a hot flash! LOL Actually when it happens now I wait for an hour or so and step on the scale. I usually will be down a pound or two. On me, it means I was visited by "one hot fairy!" july31978@... wrote: Today I woke up from a nap and I felt like my entire body was on fire. Is this from being on this WOE? Guest guest
Gee, , weren't we just discussing hot flashes a day or so ago? Well, if that isn't a possibility, it could be from this WOE. When I was really doing Atkins right, I'm not sure I am really even doing maintenance right just now, anyway back then I did have times that I felt really warm. I think that when the ketones are really high you do feel warmer. Jean

Guest guest
I have. Once when I was first on induction, I ate a steak and it knocked me out into a deep comma like sleep. When I woke up, we had to leave the house and get in the car before I would cool off. I am sure that is the fat being metabolized.
