Guest guest
I want to thank everyone for answering all of my questions. I would love to answer everyone individually, but I watch 6 kids during the day in addition to my own two. Between no time and my brain being fried, I just can't do it. I did write to the hospital where AJ was born and asked for her records. I called first and it seemd like it was going to be no problem. We will see what i get. So it seems the audiologist is right on, with AJ's follow up eval scheduled for 3 months from her first test. AJ has me worried though. She seems very frustrated right now with speech. I don't know if it is because we are dwelling on it and asking her to try and pronounce things correctly or what. I hadn't sensed this before. She really bummed me out the other day. She got a new harmonica. She told me it didn't work after playing with it. I asked her what was wrong. She said it didn't make music. It did, but she couldn't hear it. She supposedly only has a mild loss and only in one ear. Maybe I am the one dwelling and so tuned into everything she does and says, that I just see so much more and her hearing hasn't changed. I don't know. Thank you for all your input. Phyllis
