Guest guest
We wrote last week about death and prostate cancer. I have been catching up on the Updates for the Yana site and have a very sad message from Colleen, Pas Grech’s wife. He was 48 when he was diagnosed last March last year with a very aggressive form of our shared disease. Colleen says <snip> I decided last week to stop all treatments as its not doing anything at all. He is not in pain and is comfortable, that’s the main thing. <snip> You can read Pas’ story at http://www.yananow.net/Mentors/PasG.htm and I’m sure that Colleen and the girls would appreciate anything you can do to help her through this sad period at what should be a joyous time for them all All the best Terry Herbert I have no medical qualifications but I was diagnosed in ‘96: and have learned a bit since then. My sites are at www.yananow.net and www.prostatecancerwatchfulwaiting.co.za Dr “Snuffy” Myers : " As a physician, I am painfully aware that most of the decisions we make with regard to prostate cancer are made with inadequate data "
