Happy New Year to One and All!

Well, I made it through a whole year being diabetic, and it hasn't killed me

yet! Hallelujah. 2001 is going to be even better for me, I predict.

I recently asked my doctor about the haptoglobin test to determine

likelihood of diabetic complications, and she said it wasn't available yet

through her.

Has anyone pursued getting this blood test? Would this be such a beneficial

test that paying for it out-of-pocket would be wise, even if it is not

covered by insurance?

DM2, A1c read normal for the first time at last month's test! Yay!
