And to further differentiate them, the gore point on the " far " side where an on-ramp joins the highway is a " reverse gore point. " If it's pointing AT you, that's a gore point and if it's pointing in the same direction you're traveling, it's the reverse gore point. (But that's very specific and most officers don't make the distinction when referring to them.) Happy to be here, proud to serve.
