hello, and happy new year !! my daughter has m.s.. she has had optic neuritis

several times. She has also had a number of other problems. I don't think {and

this is just my thinking, and experience with her } that there is any " good

m.s. " And the degree of m.s. is based on where and what nerve is being effected

..

NO matter what caused you particular type of MS, we all have the ability

to stop it course and also reverse it. It takes time, patience, money,

and lots of research to figure out what will work for a particular

individual. We are all experiemental methods some further along in the

experiement and some just starting. We have to chose whether we will

experiment with safe alternatives to drugs or with the drugs which most

of know won't help the underlying causes of our symptoms. Happy New

yes, that is right, I heard the same thing.

And I heard that when first relaps it was paresis it doesn't prognosis well

:( It means that the MS will be have a hard course.

I was dx when I was nineteen. So, I start to thinking in conection with

which hormones did it was conection?

Interesting . . . I started with optic neuritis two years ago, and I

found alpha lipoic acid helpful. Could be a coincidence, but then

again, maybe there could be a connection.

(I also found DHEA helpful.)

headaches are a part of this. Things that increase the permeability

of the barrier such as grapeseed extract and alpha lipoic acid can be

Lack of sleep is a major factor with many diseases. Unfortunately it is

a symptom as well as a precursor which causes a downward cycle of cause

and effect. I have found magnesium (250 to 500mg) taken before bedtime

helps with muscle soreness which interrupts deep sleep.

Sometimes it helps to review the basics to see if you are doing

I know Magesium helps be sleep better. IF stress is getting to you then

feed you endocrine system more thats what helps you cope with stress. I

use a combo of amino acids and Wild Yam Root, also extra powdered

greens.

What combo of amino acids do you use to combat stress? Stress causes an

immediate pressure in my neck and the back of the head which in turn makes

it nearly impossible to stand up/ remain standing. Thanks to everyone; I am

ready to get some sleep.

Hi Madeline,

The ones I take are L-Glutamic Acid ,Glycine, L-Lysine, all at 400mg per

day or more, and L-Arginine at 200mg or more. Those are combined with

Betasitosterol and Wild Yam Root. I also would think extra minerals

would help combined with vitamins and essential fatty acids which is

really needed my many. I use fish oil by Purity for my source. I used to

get extreme neck pain with stress also, still do if I am really upset.

Its amazing how quickly the pain can come after the trauma! My sleep is

never affected anymore though, thank goodness.
