I had it when I was real young so I can't remember, but my now 7 year old (Braelley turned 7 yesterday!) has spots on her back mainly, but some on her arms, legs, chest, and face. To complicate things, she had her tonsils and adenoids out Friday (4 days ago), so I am not sure if it is chicken pox or a delayed reaction to her pain med and new antibiotic. I gave her a dose of Benedryl and it did not go away, but neither did the fever. Can anyone suggest something? PS....It is my 3 year old that has Chiari, so I really hate to bother y'all with this question, but I have to also think about the things I might encounter if Mason gets chicken pox.
