Guest guest
I am really nervous because I am getting married i June, and I would like to start a family soon after. I had the suboccipital craniotomy, duraplasty and laminectomy of c1 and c2 in February of 1999. My neurologist said that there is nothing to wory about when we decide we want to start a family. For some reason I don't believe him one bit!! I can not imagine that the labor process, with pushing and straining, would not increase the symptoms. I also wanted to know if ACM is a hereditary thing. Can anyone shed light on the situation. I don,t believe my neurologist at all. One more thing... Has anyone else experienced or been diagnosed with Neurocardiogenic syncope? My neurologist does not think that the two are related, but my cardiologist seems to think that they are related, but he doen't know enough about ACM to make a judgement. Personally I think they are related because I never had this problem until I had the surgery in February! Thanks in advance for any input or iformation you have to offer!! Happy Holidays to all!!
