one that I ask too. Omega 3 and 6 fats are made in the leaves of

plants and seeds, as you stated. These fats are used by the brain,

nerves and eyes. Read " The Queen of Fats " by Allport. It's

about the fats that are missing from the American diet and how to

replace them. It is her concept that supplementation is not enough

when the fats are so critical to health. Balance of omega 6 and 3 is

important. Taking an omega 3 supplement can throw the balance off in

some people. Those two fats compete with each other for space and

each has a different function.
