Kenda,

That is true, the closer to the ocean the more you see implants. That really is scary to think about for sure. I think implants did nothing for me but make me look fat and ruin my life so I don't know how those women walk around flaunting those big jugs of toxic crap myself. Like I said I never got to enjoy my implants for one day so hard to flaunt them when you are sick on the couch and thinking and feeling like you are going to die. Most of the time I wore a T-shirt or a robe around. How sad to think of I paid $5500 to be sick forever probably.

We won't even go there on the numerous doctor bills and the cost of explant $10,500.00. Medicines from here on out. Wow these 'safe' saline implants were so worth it. NOT IN A MILLION YEARS. YOU COULD NOT GIVE THEM TO ME!!!!!!!!!!

Hugs,

Donna

My son and I are in Seattle, Washington for a few days of vacation -- we

live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I noticed that very few women I have encountered

over the last 5 days in Seattle are implanted. I was in Ft. Lauderdale a

couple of weeks ago and noticed nearly every women I encountered was

implanted and very plastic looking. I am wondering if implants are a

regional thing. At home they are very common as well. It would be very

interesting to see regional numbers of implanted women! Women here are very

earthy and natural.

Kenda: I think there might be something to that. I just moved from New England to Oklahoma City and am noticing a lot of fake boobs at my gym (I seem to remember you saying there were a lot at yours). I mentioned my observation to my new doctor and he said Texas is even worse. I've also lived in California, which is where I felt the initial pressure to get implants back in the late 80s, when everyone there seemed to be getting them done like it was getting their hair done. We're finally home after traveling to South Dakota for a family reunion. . . Wonderful time . . . I met cousins I never knew I had, and renewed friendships with those who I hadn't seen in many, many years. It was especially fun because we hadn't planned to go - so we were a surprise to almost everyone. While traveling, I saw a number of women who had to have implants . . . Skinny arms, with breasts too high and round for nature. . . I've often thought that I should create a small pamplet that I could give to these women (privately) . . . Some of them look as though they need help NOW! . . . Does anyone have some ideas on what one could put into such a pamplet . . . I don't want to insult anyone - just to let them know that, if they have implants are are having problems, they are not alone. Hugs, Rogene .

Good idea! I did have a business card with the group address on the back that I gave to a number of women . . . I would like to give them a little more information than the card though. There's a fine line between offering information and getting personal. Rogene .

Rogene, I have some ideas for a pamphlet. Give me a few weeks, when

I have some time, when I'm recovering from surgery, and I'll offer

some suggestions!

Colleen McKenzie put together a very, very well done pamphlet a few years ago. She is a very talented graphic artist. I saw samples of her pamphlet through an email file, and I was impressed. We had talked about printing some of these up and distributing them locally. I am not sure whatever happened...I know that Colleen has suffered so much from her implant illness and is still not working. I think she is on disability. I will see if I can find those pamphlet files. If not, I'll see if Colleen is still interested in doing them. She has a website by the way...it's called Poisoned Beauty, and you can see how talented she is. http://www.poisonedbeauty.com/ Patty Sunny <wellnessnow@...> wrote: Rogene, I have some ideas for a pamphlet. Caffeine sensitivity comes from poor liver detoxification. The caffeine

circulates in your body rather than being eliminated.

I thought the business card was a great idea. I wanted to do it but never did. Rogene, what kind of responses did you get when you gave out the cards? PattyRogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: Good idea! Sneak preview the all-new .com. It's not radically different. Just radically better.

Patty, I don't know that anyone I gave the business cards to ever joined the group. They may have started reading it - but regardless, they know that, if they have problems, they're not alone. Having a simple booklet would be much more informative. Rogene
