Guest guest
Try to get your doctor to write you a prescription for LDN. More info can be found at www.lowdosenaltrexone.org Numbness on my left side I am 29 years old and was diagnosed with MS in June of last year. I was doing well until May of this year. My balance has took a turn and I don't know what to do. I am unable to shop; or get a job because my left leg is almost like being paralized. I can walk but my left leg always drags. When I do too much on it I start getting real weak. I need to know what I can do to make this try to make situation better. __________________________________________________________ Need a quick answer? Get one in minutes from people who know. Guest guest
Hi Colleen, You have to realize that those drugs are not going to help you much. WHile they may cover a few symptoms all the root causes I mentioned in my first post are still there. You will actually continue to get worse and worse if you don't start to address some of the underlying causes soon. You say your diet is regular but I am not sure how good or bad that is.Most people who have MS have bowel issues and lots of allergy type problems associated with foods. Eliminating things like dairy, grains, sugars is a good place to start. Getting rid of processed foods and eating for fresh raw things is a good place to start. Getting on some good digestive aids that will help get the bowels moving better as the drugs tend to slow the bowels and or even stop them. I know you probably would like to just take a pill and have your legs quit wobbling but thats not going to happen. Are you willling to start to make some changes in your habits?? Have you also see a chiropractor or some type body worker to help make sure spine is aligned and no nerves are being pinched? This is also important.
