Take it from a migrainer - do asprin and tylonal together, and a bit

of caffine to enhance the pain killing effects.

Now, put your finger inbetween your eyebrows, down just a little, but

not all the way down to the indented part of the top of the

nose....k, gentle pressure. Feel good? There are also these

pressure spots just above and slightly behind the ears and one on the

high back of the neck....just keep looking - you'll find the relief.

Also try cool or warm cloths.

And as you lay there in bed, trying to sleep it off - keep telling

yourself that this is how bad you'll feel every time you eat that

high sugary no-no! Poor baby!

Ang,

Thanks for the advice! Thank the Lord I slept it off and TODAY IS

A NEW DAY! I really don't have a problem eating sugar once i put my

mind to it. I don't have young children in the house so i dont' have

any junk food here to tempt me. i even stopped buying ice cream and

don't miss it. Almost every night my husband makes pop corn and i

haven't even been eating that much. Do you think pop corn in a

little oil is fattening? it's hard to jus eat one cup of that

stuff! But I think it's better than potato chips

You know, I NEVER believed it would happen. I'm on week 21 of my weight

loss/exercise program. I stopped at Borders, and wanted a snack. Since I'm

on maintenance, and had maintained for 8 weeks (in fact, my weight fell

below my target) I thought:

" Hmmm. I can try a brownie with coffee. "

Now, brownies at the bookstore are HUGE. But I got one anyway.

Well, I still like the taste, but within 30 minutes, while I sat reading,

the brownie I felt distinctly woozy!!! It was noticeable!

I guess if you cut out the sugar-fat-caffeine bombs, you do eventually

notice how they affect your mood and feelings. I had cut these out

completely for 21 weeks, and now I notice I feel bad after I eat them. (I

also didn't " crave " it like I used to. )

I suspect I used to feel sort of bad after eating these-- but I never

noticed because I did it so often that was just sort of " normal " . I mean, I

didn't feel like death-- just sort of " yuck " .

You know, I'd read that this would happen-- but I didn't believe it. Anyway,

for what it's worth: I still like the taste. I can eat small amounts of

desserts after meals (or with protein foods) without feeling woozy. But I

notice feel bad after pure junk food now.

I bought an airpopper at wallmart years back for 5$. No oil at all.

But if you do use oil, get the canola - less saturated fat. Figure

whatever oild you use to pop it you will eat. I think a tablespoon

is like 14 grams? I can't remember. So use as little as possible.

Even with the iol - popcorn is better than chips - and good fiber

too :-) I like to do air popped with only salt. Husband and kids

like butter - so I use that spray parkay - 0 fat and calories (it

says).
