Guest guest Posted December 3, 1999 Report Share Posted December 3, 1999 my husband was decompressed in august of this year...prior to a diagnosis of acm1 (took over 2 years and many dr's b4 diagnosis!!), his main complaints were headaches, vertigo (severe at times, but always there), etc....he was on sooooo many meds to try to relieve the vertigo (b4 he was diagnosed), but nothing helped....finally he was referred to a great neurosurgeon and she zeroed in on him right away!! after the decompression, despite other initial problems that are since resolved, there was no dizziness, headaches, vertigo,e tc....all symptoms have been relieved...thank God.....don't know if i actually helped you out re: meds, but did want you to know that his surgery cleared up his problems...have you had surgery?? have a good day, becky Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
