Guest guest
LOL Laney I have no idea mine came up with the following: Estimate #1 based on height and weight Your " Ponderal Index " is 11.52 which gives an estimated body fat of 43.4% (81.6 pounds of fat) Estimate #2 based on waist size and weight Estimated body fat of 14.5% (27.3 pounds of fat) Anyone care to help me with that information... San P.S. I like the second one too...hehehe > My " ponderal index " was 51.3% body fat....meaning I have 97.4 pounds of fat.....my other estimate was 27.4% body fat....meaning I have 52 pounds of fat. Now which one am I supposed to go with????? I like the second one better. Guest guest
ok, mine was 44% with 139 lbs of fat and my ideal weight should be 227 so I only need to lose 89 lbs. I don't think so, lol --- " E.Stidham " wrote: > My " ponderal index " was 51.3% body fat....meaning I > have 97.4 pounds of fat.....my other estimate was > 27.4% body fat....meaning I have 52 pounds of fat. > Now which one am I supposed to go with????? Guest guest
ok, now this one gave me a Ponderal Index of 10.28, estimated body fat of 68.5% with 216 lbs of fat. This is much more severe than the other site. Which is the accurate one? --- samsanandalex wrote: > http://stevenscreek.com/goodies/pi.shtml > > San > > __________________________________________________

I still seem to be alive.... I noticed the page doesn't ask whether you are a man or a woman. ALL the published formula's ask that! I just added the " YMCA " method to estimate your body fat to my page: http://www.thedietdiary.com/diet/healthIndex/BodyFatTape.html So, you all can enter your info and find your body fat. (You have to scroll past my long winded explanations that tell you my results. I put those there to help people understand why the estimates vary, and understand the basis.) Anyway, you all can go fiddle there.
