911 calls from people you know

I work in a small town pd and ever so often I get 911 calls from people I know.

The other night for instance the lady that used to play piano at my church

dialed 911 and hung up. As per procedure I called back and the line was busy.

So I sent my officers to do a check the well being for her. I tried to call her

again, and she picked up hollering " Can you help me! " I called her by her first

name and asked what was wrong. She said she fell and broke her leg again, and

that her husband wasn't at home to unlock the door. GREAT!!! So I request an

ambulance and infrom my responding officers. About that time, her husband got

on the phone and told me that she was either hallucinating or having a bad

dream. My officers get there and confirm what the husband told me. I'm glad

that she was fine, but she had me concerned.

Has anyone else answered 911 calls from someone you knew? I would like to hear

about it.
