Warning OT Wal-Mart flip flops, Chemical burns

My mother bought a pair of flip-flops from Wal-Mart and after wearing

them for a couple of hours, her feet had burning under the straps. The

burning has turned into peeling skin and blisters. We saw a news alert

on TV about other people having this problem with chemical burns. They

were the same flip-flops, from China. Since that time, I did an

Internet search for " flip-flops wal-mart chemical " and found many sites

with news stories of people with the same claim. The sandals have

bright colored soles with large white daisies and colored straps. If

anyone here has had similar experiences, I sure would like to hear

about them. My mom told our local Wal-Mart about them and they're

still on the shelves sereral weeks later.
