Lavon:

I sure will keep it in mind. Do you mean Spring 2002?

Like, as in about March 2002? That would be nice.

I am missing the get-together this July in Ohio due to

finances mostly, but also son's wedding, and my NIH

trip the 17th of July. I also have met Dale & Kathy

from South Dakota. We met, along with Doug and Sara

Fattig, Kathy Hillary, Dennis and I in Rochester, MN,

last November. You are so right, in that it was a lot

of fun. I'll tentatively plan TX in 2002.

Later.......

Hi Lavon:

Would I love to visit Texas again. As a young 18 year old, I joined the

Air Force, and was stationed at Lackland in San , and it would be

great to go back. But, & I went to Houston a few years ago, and it

was so hot, he vowed he would never step on Texas soil again. Maybe

with time I could change his mind.

Lavon,

I had hoped we could do one in Calif. as I think Sonja

will be able to come. I'd be happy to host it in the

San Diego area. I've been putting off talking about

it because I'd like to find out when and if Sonja can

make it.

That sounds great too. I will defer to Sonja's schedule but will look into

what can be done here so we'll have something one way or another (perhaps

both?) My only reason for proposing March here is it gets too hot if you

do it anytime between May and November! Lavon

,

I would be very interested in a PLS get-together on the west coast. Have

been reading the msgs, hoping someone would suggest it. Since I'm so new to

the group, I hesitated to say anything before now

..

Thanks, Bette
