I'm looking at an ad in the Daily Care - the magazine for Diabetes. This ad

is for the One Touch Fast Take Monitoring System. Requires only a tiny drop

of bood. Can use in finer or arm. If this is the one you are talking about

you can go to the website for more info. The site is " Lifescan.com "

Are you talking about the laser beam monitor, Ce? If that's what you're

thinking of, it's pretty pricy...somewhere around $1000. What magazine did

you see it in? I have lots of back issues of Diabetes Interview. Vicki

Was it the At Last meter? I have one of those. The lacet is attached to the

meter itself and you stick your forearm or thigh. The site for the manufacturer

is http://www.amira.com

BG Monitors

Could someone PLEASE tell me the name or site for a new little monitor I saw

advertised in the diabetic magazine? My sub has run out, and I lost the page

I tore out of the mag. I'm SO sick and tired of sore finger tips. I'd even

stopped monitoring due to a needle PHOBIA I have now acquired! And I use the

superfine lancets, even!

But, there was one that did micro blood testing, or something like that.

Thanks in advance for any leads.

Thanks. I THINK that might have been it, but, I'm not sure. That's what I

get for not putting the paper in a safe spot.

Has anyone ever used this monitor?

Humm, that one looks like the one. Do you like it better than finger

sticking?

I sure do. It works very well, and only takes a tiny sample. I've yet to even

feel the lancet.
