Guest guest
Hi Tina & Welcome to the group: I'm so sorry she's not sleeping in it! It is pretty uncommon but not unheard of for baby's not to like their new helmet, esp in the beginning of treatmetn & esp sleeping. I'd ease her into wearing it at bedtime over the next few days I think. Does the helmet appear to be " digging " into her forehead or anywhere else while she's lying down? What helmet is she wearing? I see you're in KY and we've had several KY members lately. Hope it gets better, hang in there. Debbie > Hi Everyone, > > I am ready to pull out my hair. Guest guest
Hi Tina and welcome to the group. Poor baby girl! I hate that she is just crying and crying when laid down. Was she diagnosed with Brachocephaly? They say it is harder for a brachy baby to adjust to sleeping in a band because they are so use to sleeping on a flat spot and now they are laying on roundness. Does that make sense? Does the band appear to be too tight or cover her eyes, maybe rubbing on something that is uncomfortable? What kind of band is it? I hope we can help you to help her. I feel so bad for her. My daughter never whimpered about her band during sleep or any other time. Dustie, mom to , DOCGrad'03 Dallas > Hi Everyone, > > I am ready to pull out my hair. Guest guest
Hi Tina, My daughter also had a tough time sleeping the first couple nights, but not as bad as you're describing. Like others have said, maybe her helmet needs an adjustment? Also, is it possible she could be teething? , mom to Hannah, DOCgrad Cape Cod, Ma > Hi Everyone, > > I am ready to pull out my hair.
