CLA is a supplement, and does not require a presciption.

it is available at health food stores...

and I have been taking it for a while now ... I'm on my second

bottle, and I intend to do it for life. If anyone knows anything

about iridology - I can tell yu that I was healthier after 2 weeks

and felt better.

As far as what you see - well, the first week I gained 3 pounds - but

I lost 1/2 inch off my belly and 1/8 off my thiegh. After that my

weight started to come of alot easier.

You need about 4000 mg to benefit you, unless you eat alot of whole

dairy.

Do a search on it San - you'll like what you read!

I wouldn't go so far as to say that it 'reduces' body fat....but all

the things it does do leads to that ---- more latter, it'll be

storming soon.

The brand used in testing was " Tonalin " brand CLA, which comes in 1000 mg

capsules. To obtain the level determined to be effective in the testing--

3.4g or 3400mg, per day --

you can take 4 of these capsules a day, with meals.

2 with breakfast

1 with lunch

1 with dinner

to get a total of 4000mg total per day.

A person who took it after 1 week noticed less abdominal bloating, and a

slight reduction in appetite which was a result of lower blood sugar

Please note that you should not think CLA alone will help you lose weight.

you still need to be on a balanced, reduced calorie diet with vigorous

exercise.

Ok - storms over.

Basically it helps to block some fat from being stored, and it helps

to 'washout' or 'make movable' the fat reserves that are 'extra'.

Now it won't make you loss whieght - but with diet and exersice it

will help you to keep from putting weight on, and the weight YOU are

loosing it will help you to get it moving and into the blood to be

used - but you then must use it for energy by exersice or by cutting

out some of the calories and fat in your diet that your body is

needing (ie. dieting).

It also helps you to build lean muscle - which of course in turn,

will help you burn more calories daily.

I believe chrissy already listed the other benifits (thanks).
