Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to the group. I recently had bloodwork done (Oct 08) and I had Reverse T3 tested too, I had never had that done before, the doc has never mentioned the RT3 and just said all the tests looked to be " normal " , I do so hate that word. I have heard mention on other sites about RT3 but know absolutely nothing about it, found you guys and hope to find out some more please? My history is d'xd HyperT Aug 07, RAI Sep 07, Graves/TED Nov 07, HypoT Dec 07, as you can see I had a busy 07 hahaha! I have the muscle aches and pains in arms/legs/back, the eye problems, puffy/swollen lids, double vision and slight protrusion and a total inability to lose weight (I've put on over 40lbs) and oh! of course the brain fog. I take 75mcg Levothyroxin and 5mcg Cytomel. Lab results for Oct 08: TSH 0.24 (0.40-4.50) FT4 1.2 (0.8-1.8) FT3 281 (230-420) Reverse T3 28 (11-32) Thyroid Peroxidase 75 (<35) Thyroglobulin Antibodies <20 (<20) Is there a ratio FT3 to RT3 and if so how do I work that out etc? TIA Dee
