Guest guest
Debbie, Thanks so much for checking in! I'm very happy to report that Christian had a really good night. He want right to sleep (on his tummy!) without any crying at all, and he only woke up once for about 30 seconds!!! WOO HOO! I guess he really is adjusting. And, though these first few days have been rough, he IS adjusting pretty quickly (when you consider his first real day with the helmet was Tuesday!). He napped for an hour and a half this morning and he's napping again right now. I took him for a stroll this morning (remember, I live in FL and it is 78 degress today!) and he was NOT impressed with the heat. He got fussy. (Makes sense to me!) As for the swelling, the eye went down to normal yesterday. It was swollen a bit again this morning when he woke up, but not as bad. I guess his little head has to get use to the helmet and sleeping on his tummy. I still miss his snuggle head, but I feel SO much more optimistic. I've said it before but it's worth saying again, I'm SO happy I found this support site! Lori > Hi Lori: > So how'd Christian do sleeping last night? How's his eye?
