Guest guest
So from reading all the diet information (BBD, etc.) - eliminating gluten from the diet is a must so I have to ask the question - does anyone believe that they also suffer from Celiac Disease and/or has anyone been tested for this? Thanks ahead of time Jody
Guest guest
Hi Jody, Celiac Decease was proven to be caused by gluten. Diets for MS first came from people suffering from MS in the 1950's. Not a cure, but thousands have and do benefit from them. Similarly those who take the doctors route go down a lot faster than us who follow alternatives. I've watched this happen a lot since my dx in 1973, especially with those who say " I cannot " . Living with MS is hard work and only you can look after you. Doctors look after their bank accounts, they don't worry about the damage modifying drugs do. . Guest guest
Hi Yes, my Brother has Coeliac's Disease and MS (aswell as Gastroparesis, Hiatus Hernia, Raynaud's and IBS, along with many allergies). www.coeliac.co.uk gives some good info on what to avoid.
