Hi Ian,

It looks to me to be about .4 inches or approximately 1cm, but that's just a visual estimate. (I tried using a ruler, but I could only find what I think was a drafting ruler, with no metric measurements). And that would be just the foam on the inside, not the hard plastic on the outside.

Congratulations, you appear to be the world champion, you seem to havebeaten the previous record, I have read of wearing a Doc Band for a shorttime, which was 28 days. The German Cranio Helmet that our son wears, is supposed to treat babieswith only one helmet for 99% of babies. It has 10mm of foam for adjustmenton both sides of the inside of the helmet. Having this thickness of foamallows for adjustments to the helmet throughout the treatment, due to thebabies head growing. Can anyone tell me what the thickness of the foam is, in a DOC Band.Good luck with your insurance claim.Ian, being scammed?>

Thanks ,

From what you are saying, it appears that they all have the same thickness of foam on the inside, 12mm.

Could someone else with a DOCband measure theirs for me.

I am a little confused now as if the DOCbands have the same amount of foam inside, like the German Cranio and STARband helmets, then why do you need to have a new DOCband helmet.

Confused.

Ian.
