It probably is, believe, if its crohns, he wouldn't get constipated no matter

what, its unheard of, thats irritable bowel, not crohns.

How was Cary diagnosed for crohns?

I did have irritable bowel before full blown crohns, I alternated between

loose and constipation, sorry folks, for the graphics.

Usually a situation of stress sets it off, like a job, death, even a happy

exciting situation can do it.

Mine didn't show until I was in my 40's and my stepdad was dying of

cancer...on my floor at work.

It was funny now that I think about it, my aunt gave me some of her lomotil

for the loosies, and it didn't work, I told her to complain to her pharmacy

that it was old pills, LOL

but boy oh boy, fiber is a no no for crohns, my daughter has it too, and she

can't do fiber either.

Even the low carb tortilla was too much for me, now I got 10 packs I can't

use :-(

Carol,

Can you crisp them into chips and use a small amt at a time, maybe 1/4

tortilla's worth?

Also, my husband was misdiagnosed by several GI drs over 12-15 years with IBS,

Crohns, etc. Finally, a correct dx of celiac disease was made. (There is an

autoimune link between CD and T1 diabetes.)

Carol,

I have seen recipes for almond flour tortillas but have never tried them. They

suggest using a tortilla press which is the one kitchen gadget I haven't managed

to collect. If you're interested, I can dig through my poorly managed computer

files and send it to you.

I did manage to come up with a sort of burrito mix for a crohnie like me,

just a teaspoon of refried beans, ground beef, seasonings, onions, cheese, a

couple dabs of tomato paste, comes out OK, just can only have a little or

I'll suffer all night.

Lettuce doesn't bother me, I do eat salads, but some veggies, forget it. LOL
