Did you see the insurance posts that Christy and I posted today (2/10)? There were a lot of ideas that may help. What were you denied for?

First Choice Insurance Denial...help

Well we just received our denial of coverage from our Insurance carrier First Choice. I plan to appeal their decision but I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with First Choice or does anyone have any suggestions for when I send in my appeal. Any help is greatly appreciated!I also wanted to thank everyone for all of the assistance that we have received along the way. It has definitely made this situation much easier! My son is in the Clarren helmet and has been in it for about 2 months. We have already noticed a difference...I have posted pictures under H. I have beem playing phone tag with my claims rep. I should have the

specifics tomorrow. Thanks!

Thank you for the reply and compliment. I am still waiting to hear

the specific reason why he was denied. There are 4 elements of

medical necessity that he needs to meet in order for it to be

covered...I should know exactly why we were denied tomorrow. Thanks

again!
