She's taking today off so I'll check with her on Monday to see what the applicants suggested. --- What would you do? Just to get it started, here are some random thought on my part (in no particular order): 1. Have the child bang on a neighbor's door; 2. Ask for grandma's phone number (or any other family member's); 3. Ask if mommy works and where (along with her name, of course); 4. Have the child look for mail and read the address to you; 5. Have the child make sure that no one else is present at the residence who could help; Roy Mumaw CAPD Arroyo Grande What ideas do others have. (yes Iam that old) Young person about 13, with severe breathing problems. Was a visitor to our city, adults had all left the house. He found mail, gave me the info. I sent all necessary assistance. They arrived, house all locked up. My contact could not get up to unlock the door, was gasping for air. Forced entry was made, troops could find no one in the house. I then heard my contact talking to someone in the room. I asked to speak to them. Then I find out the residents of the target home had just moved to another city. OUCH. Luck would have it the young man was ok just had a panic attack being left alone. All was well there. Now how to explain to the other home owner, why we destroyed their front door. City replaced the damaged the door. All was well. I felt like an absolute Dope. I worked with what I had, what else was there to do. One never knows what will turn up when our phones ring. Do we?
