Guest guest
Hi all, Kaylee got her Starband on Friday and seems to be doing pretty well but we started trying to get her to sleep at night with it and she just wakes up every hour! It shifts up against her ear. Is it supposed to shift that much? Did everyone else have problems getting your child to sleep with it? Maybe the helmet is too long in the back and tilts her head too much? Should I ask the orthodotist to cut off the bottom inch or so?? Last night, she kept rubbing her head side to side and I finally realized she had a horrid rash so I took it off and put on the hydrocortisone all over the ear it was rubbed against and the back of her head and then she slept without it right away. I had nightmares she had a huge growth spurt without it though... sigh. How long will it take her to get used to this? I'm not going to be able to last much longer without sleep... Should I try putting her on her side or on a pillow or anything? Thanks for any suggestions and the comfort!
