Guest guest Posted July 24, 2001 Report Share Posted July 24, 2001 I work at TriCom Central Dispatch in North/East Central Illinois. About 45 minutes West of Chicago. We are a multi-jurisdictional agency that dispatches for 3 police and 4 fire/EMS depts. We actually just had interviews on July 14th to hire one person then we will be full staffed. Sorry..... But there is practically a nation-wide shortage of Dispatchers and finding a job shouldn't be that hard. And I'm sure there are several people here that need people now... :-) Good luck!
