Guest guest
Sherry you have to go cold turkey. After the 3rd of 4th day it will get alot easier. The first 3 days are the toughest. Did you read the book? That is very important so you know exactly what you can have. Good Luck. You can do it we will help you along the way. Guest guest
Sherry, this is a very committed diet , you will be defeating yourself by drinking that oj. You want to get your body into ketosis and oj will keep that from happening. Give it atry sherry. Don't even have it in the house it will just tempt you. Guest guest
Sherry, I never used to drink water either in fact I hated water. It made me sick to my stomach. Then I started reading alot of articles on water and how important it is for our body. You just have to force yourself to do it. Now Water is all I drink. Try adding some lemon rinds to it . Also you could try the flavored waters they sell. I never cared for those myself. Sherry you can do this. Try not to dwell on what you can't have think about all the good food that you can have. Good Luck Laverne
Guest guest
Ok, I'm not sure if this is " good " for this diet or not, but..... another friend of mine that's done Atkins suggested I try some of the fruit flavored waters wal-mart has. I was really missing my apple juice and juice flavor in general. I don't know what they are made of because there's nothing in them, but they do taste good and they're fizzy for a " soda " taste. Guest guest
Sherry, Water was a hard habit for me to learn also. Probably others have already answered your question, but here is my advice. First, make sure you are drinking filtered or bottled water, the taste is worlds better. Bottled water gets expensive, so I have a filter that I attached to my faucet in the kitchen and it is fairly inexpensive by comparison. Second, water is much easier to drink if it is not ice cold. I love my drinks ice cold, including water, but I can really chug the water best at room temp. Weird, huh? I was never able to give up my soda either, as long as it is diet, and preferably non-caffeine, go ahead and drink it. Just try to up your water at the same time. Now, as to the OJ, why not try Diet Sunkist orange or the new SF tang? Okay, it isn't orange juice, but the flavor is there, if you use your imagination. Adding a little bit of cream to the diet orange soda is delicious! Jean 190/138.5/130 12/7/
Guest guest
I was a big "soda" drinker and juice drinker, that's all i ever drank. So this water thing is killing me! You will get better drinking water if you practice. I drink some crystal light, but mostly water. Jill
Guest guest
The case discussed with Dr. **. Even with intravenous morphine the pain unabated, so I recommended that he have her put in 23 hour observation for intractable pain. Possibly acute onset of diabetic neuritis. Recommend a loading dose with Neurontin pending **doctor release the evaluation**. This s/l will lease. Release was the only thing I could think of. tia
