Guest guest
How awful! Was it a natural tooth? I mean, is something to be alarmed about other than the embarrasment? Well, it sounds like you are a trouper and stuck it out. Beth in TX
Guest guest
Nothing to be alarmed about - it's a false tooth. Mike just glued it, and it will look ok cosmetically, but I will have to only eat soft foods until I can get to the dentist.
Guest guest
The tooth fairy left me $1000 for a new set of teeth. LOL!! I have always fixed false teeth with krazy glue, and have never gotten sick from it. One time it held for about 4 years until I got a new one! This time the tooth is not only broken, but the plate recently broke and was glued, so it is time for new ones.

Guest guest
Oh Robin!! I have to tell you this happened to me once too!! Only it was my *top* front tooth--the one right next to the front actually. I bit into a bagel during a meeting, my cap stayed in it and thank goodness the bagel was chewy or I would have swallowed the darn thing before realizing it-LOL! Luckily I made a quick excuse like "I think I lost a filling" covered my mouth & ran straight to the ladies' room where I proceeded to rinse it off & use 10-second nail glue (like Krazy Glue) to glue it right back in. Worked *great*. Everyone who knows this story tells me I am nuts and could have poisoned myself but actually my dentist said it was okay But hey, now that I think about it, he's the one who did the crummy dental work in the first place! I can imagine how you felt but I know if anyone could pull it off, you did! BTW, what'd the tooth fairy leave you?? Smile! Patti OT Christmas Party I went to mycompany Christmas party last night. It's always pretty nice. Dinner issteaks and drinks are abundant. It's for all 24 stores and corporate. (I'mfrom corporate). I had bought a really, really nice outfit for this, and Ifelt like I looked really nice even though it is a 1x......... I was havinga pleasant conversation with the main owner (my boss) and his wife. Myfront bottom tooth suddenly just fell out. Can you imagine how incrediblyimpressed they were with this trick? And I was just postively stunning therest of the evening with a big black hole right in the front. Plus, I hadto go up front, give alittle talk, and draw tickets for door prizes......I'mupper management. The Manager of Information Systems. All the storeemployees, store managers and store mechanics got to see my in all myabundant, snaggle-toothed lovelyness. My boss said that he hears that if Iput that under my pillow I may get 25 cents. I told him I went one betterand I put it in my husbands wallet. They laughed so hard that it kinda tookalot of my TOTAL HUMILIATION away.
