Liquid Splenda

For inquiring minds...

60 drops = 1 tsp (liquied volume)

so

1 tsp liquid = 20 tsp. sugar (loose granular Splenda)

and

3 tsp liquid = 20 Tbl. = 1 1/4 c.

As always, please feel free to check and correct my math, LOL.

I am experimenting w/ the Pumpkin Cream Pie recipe, making it w/ the

liquid instead of the granular Splenda, which would " save " 72 carbs

for the recipe (which makes 2 pies). A good deal if it works, I'll

let you know!

It is not at the Splenda site, I purchased it at synergydiet.com.

I posted it recently, but would be happy to do so again if you

like. It is a no-bake recipe. Also it worked out great w/ the liquid

Splenda.

Nan,

Yes, it was great w/ the granular, I was just trying to cut carbs w/

the liquid.

I used a pecan/coconut/butter/Splenda crust, I just love this pie!

Pecan Crust

1 1/2 c. pecans, gound in food processor

1//4 c. unsweetened coconut, ground in food processor

3/4 stick butter

Splenda 1/4 c.?

Sorry, I just sorta dumped stuff in there & didn't really measure.

Mix & press into pie plate, put under broiler until browns.
