Uncontrollable evening sniffing followed by nonstop laughter

I have a 10.75 year old moderate to severely autistic boy that has

recently started to have uncontrollable sniffing episodes, only in the

PM. The supplements, food, etc are the same given at earlier times

during the day. The only change to the supplementation regimen was to

remove Super Nu Thera without A & D and replace it with Hypoallergenic

Super Nu Thera which has A & D but the dose is only 1/2 tsp per day so

the incremental amount is small and the flavor/sweetener from the

previous Super Nu Thera has been removed.

He has an identical twin that is just as autistic if not a bit more

and the twin has not reacted at all to the minor change.

Does anybody have any thoughts as to what could cause this? Thanks in

advance for responses.

My 12 year old gets increased congestion and acts hyper/silly/giggly in the

evenings when he is having a yeast flare up. Hope this helps.
