Beth and other Turtlers,

How shall we measure and post our progress - or are we? Should one of us

keep track of things?

Do any of you plan on any substitutions or will you be following the posted

turtle menus to the letter?

LOL! Usually, I am too. But I think I could manage to put together some

sort of chart for those of us who want to keep track. I find that for

myself, it helps for accountability. Otherwise, I'm very tempted to not keep

track and then lose sight of the whole goal. I'm a little trepidatious about

following the plan to the letter, but I do like how everything is spelled

out. Are we nuts for trying this right before the holidays? Oh, well - the

2 weeks are going to go by anyway, might as well make the best out of them.

(Besides, I have a closet full of clothes that do NOT fit!) By the end of

the year, I would at like at least one pair of pants (that do not have an

elastic band) to fit without cutting off my circulation....

Sheila,

Cool!! I didn't even know that function existed! All I ever do is

subscribe! How exactly does it work? Do we all enter our own information,

or do we pass it to one person to enter?

I haven't thought that far ahead, you must have an analytical mind.

Are you voluteering? I'm much too disorganized to track anything. I

plan to stick to the diets like glue until I've lost at least 4 lbs,

then I might get a little more creative w/ substitutions, or maybe

I'll even stick to it completely if I can hack it....

We could use the " database " section of our

E-groups group page. I have set them up before

on other groups and they are great for keeping

track of this type of " stuff " !

It can be done either way, you can enter your

info yourself or have one person do it.

Let me know what we want to keep track of and

I'll set it up for us.

As a fellow turtler on Mon, I have tried these menus and they are great. I just can't get all the snacks in!! I eat what I can, when I can. Some days I eat just 1 or 2 snacks, and some days, none at all. I just take it one day at a time. But I do follow the meals (salads and veggies being so important!!) daily. The subs I make are measure for measure of what I have on hand-i.e. I don't buy sunflower seeds, but I do have walnuts and pecans in my fridge so I will eat 1 oz. of those instead.
